90s Nostalgia And The Metaverse: How Martin Lawrence and Bun B Are Making Their Marks With NFTs

UGK arguably has one of the most iconic Black classic rap songs in “International Players Anthem.” And while the song continues to be a staple in culture, life beyond its success has to keep going. Rap legend and member of the Texas group, Bun B, decided that one of his next moves is taking his restaurant into the NFT space.

Bun B’s Trill Burgers is getting the digital treatment in Long Beach, CA, where burgers and NFTs will come together to create an exclusive Bored Ape Yacht Club-themed restaurant called Bored & Hungry.

“The amazing thing about the NFT space is the opportunity for rapid growth,” Bun B explained. “Trill Burgers was born in Houston just last summer. We’ve done pop-ups. We’ve done festivals. We’re at the world’s biggest rodeo. And now, with Bored and Hungry, it opens us up to a worldwide community.”
