Snoop Dogg is the next public figure stepping in to assist Josephine Wright in her fight for her home.

USA Today reports the 93-year-old woman has been sued by Bailey Point Investment Group for her property, which has been owned by her family for over 30 years.

Wright took over the land in 2012 following the death of her husband.

The outlet states court documents reveal the company is suing Wright for encroachment, and they are looking for approval to build 147 homes across her 1.8-acre parcel of land, per CNN.

The lawsuit — filed in February 2023 — follows after the company reportedly offered Wright $30,000 for her land, which she did not approve, according to her granddaughter, Tracey Love Graves.

“My porch is not on their property,” Wright said, according to CNN.

In June 2023, Wright’s lawyers communicated in writing that Bailey Point Investment allegedly used tactics such as “intimidation, harassment, [and] trespass” in hopes of her turning over her land.

“I want to be left alone,” CNN reports Wright expressed. “I want to live on my property like I have always in peace and quiet.”

Fortunately for Wright, she is not alone in her fight.

CNN reports Snoop Dogg donated $10,000 toward Wright’s GoFundMe, which will support legal fees.

“I did it from the heart,” Snoop Dogg told CNN in a statement. “She reminds me of my mother and grandmother.

As AfroTech previously shared, Kyrie Irving also made a contribution of $40,000. Wright has received $282,147 (as of this writing), and  she is seeking to raise $350,000.

“We are hoping to raise enough funds to cover the cost of her attorneys, cover any property taxes, and construct a fence to create a barrier between Grandma’s property and the new development which has recently paved a road 22ft from her back porch,” a statement on the GoFundMe page reads. “An area that was once acres of untouched forest, swampland, and refuge to Hilton Head’s diverse wildlife. Any funds that the foundation has remaining will be used as a college fund for her heirs and to replant trees on Hilton Head. She has 7 children, 40 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great-grandchildren.”
