Tabitha Brown is thriving in business alongside her close friend.

Known for her witty humor and vibrant personality, Brown has captured America’s heart through her social media presence. As AFROTECH™ previously reported, her viral video featuring Whole Foods’ TTLA sandwich garnered one million likes in just a week, ultimately leading to her role as an ambassador for the brand.

By continuing to leverage her social media platforms, Brown has transformed into a powerhouse, seamlessly extending her influence into entertainment and business. As of this writing, she boasts an impressive 9.2 million followers across Instagram and TikTok. Her ventures span various industries, including television shows on YouTube and the Food Network. Brown’s portfolio also features Donna’s Recipe, her natural haircare company, and a signature line at Target, offering plant-based grocery items, kitchen essentials, home décor, and more.

While Brown now operates on solid ground, navigating an expanding list of deals wasn’t always easy. In an interview with journalist Scott Evans, she candidly reflected on the challenges she faced early on in her journey. At the time, she was unsure how to determine her worth in negotiations and often sought guidance from friends in the industry to understand what her rates should be. This period of uncertainty highlighted the importance of surrounding herself with a supportive network that could provide insight and advice as she built her brand. Despite those initial hurdles, Brown’s perseverance and willingness to learn have been instrumental in shaping her into the businesswoman she is today.

“Nobody would help me. They would not give me a number,” she recalled to Evans.

Brown eventually finds clarity through her friend and producer, Stephen Love. He had been one of her earliest supporters long before her viral video.

“He was like something about you. I watch your lives every night. He was like something it’s something there,” she mentioned.

Brown decided to hire Love as her manager, and it soon paid off.

“We still partner together today. He’s my CGO now (chief growth officer) for my business and when we did that we went on to do like 56 deals in two years,” she revealed.
